USCIS Releases June 2025 Visa Bulletin With Key Updates

 


Each month, USCIS announces which applicants living in the US should file their adjustment of status applications using either the “Final Action Dates” chart or the “Dates for Filing” chart. For June 2025:

·        Family-based applicants must use the “Dates for Filing” chart.

·        Employment-based applicants should follow the “Final Action Dates” chart.

Both charts are available on the US Department of State’s website.

Quick summary of family-based categories

Most family-based green card categories saw no movement in June 2025. The exception was F-4 for siblings of U.S. citizens from India, which advanced by two months. All other categories remained unchanged.

F2A Final Action Dates — June 2025

This category covers spouses and unmarried children of U.S. green card holders. The June 2025 Final Action Dates are shown below:

Important notes on eligibility:

·        Applicants exempt from the per-country limit can be approved if their priority date is before 15 May 2021, regardless of country.

·        Applicants subject to the per-country limit (all except Mexico) qualify if their date falls between 15 May 2021 and 1 January 2022.

·        For Mexico, all F2A cases are currently exempt from the per-country limit.

Dates for Filing — Family-sponsored visas

These dates indicate when you may begin submitting required documents to the National Visa Center (NVC). If your priority date is earlier, and you’ve received a request from NVC, you can file your paperwork.

Employment-based categories: Who saw progress?

The EB-2 category showed the most movement in June, advancing by nearly four months for:

·        Mexico

·        The Philippines

·        All chargeability areas except those listed

Other employment-based categories:

·        EB-3 and EB-3 Other Workers saw smaller advances.

·        EB-1 and EB-5 remained unchanged.

·        EB-4 hit its annual cap and will not reopen until the next fiscal year begins.
