In Global Fight for Labor, UK Launches ‘High Potential Individual’ Visa

Are you considering moving to or working in the UK? The UK hopes the visa could resolve high-skilled labor shortages by attracting the best and brightest from around the world.

Under this new scheme, alumni of top non-UK universities who have graduated within the past five years can apply for the HPI visa. Their cases can be adjudicated within a few weeks. As of June 3, 2022, there are around 40 eligible universities, with 20 in the US, including the following:
